Make a Donation:

Just Give - make an online cash donation through JustGive.org, and you can choose whether you want to remain anonymous, set up recurring donations, designate how you would like your donation to be spent (e.g., choose to fund Project Prevention, buy healthy snacks for kids, or become a Madrino or Padrino of afterschool programs). Become a Madrina or Padrino:

FICS' fundraising is based on "friendraisers," events, and involving Madrinas and Padrinos. The idea of a Madrina or Padrino comes from Mexican villages where a person can sponsor a specific part of a party or wedding. For example, you can be a Madrina of our summer program or a Padrino of the Afterschool Tutoring Program. You can decide what you would like to sponsor! Tell us and 100% of your donation will go to summer programming, afterschool snacks, incentives for good behavior, operational support (e.g., cleaning supplies), and/or anything else you would like to specify. Volunteer Your Time:

Become an Advocate for FICS:

  • Join our Community Advisory Board - we meet monthly!
  • Write letters - or just talk - to all your influential friends about the work we do
  • Encourage other programs to collaborate with us
  • Serve on our volunteer Board of Directors
  • ORGANIZE anything - a car wash, bake sale, garage sale, a baile/concert - to benefit FICS programming and research
